Anticipation Building For Apple’s WWDC

Anticipation Building For Apple’s WWDC

About WWDC

The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference gives developers an in-depth look at the latest in iOS and OS X. You can learn from and be inspired by more than 100 sessions led by Apple engineers, get help from Apple experts through an extensive set of hands-on labs, and connect with fellow developers from around the world, giving you the opportunity to create your best apps ever. WWDC 2013 takes place June 10-14, 2013 at Moscone West in San Francisco, California.

This Year

In five days Apple will kick off its annual World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) where new hardware and software will be released and showcased to the watching world. Developers from around the world that were able to grab a ticket on Apple’s website will get an “in-depth look at what’s next in iOS and OS X” at the conference that’s being held in California. The highly anticipated event sold out in a record time of under two minutes as Apple devs frantically tried to purchase a ticket.

What to Expect

This year Apple will most likely release small upgrades to their laptop lines improving speed and slimming the Macbook Pro Retina and also the Macbook Air. Both computers also have a good chance of getting the new Intel Haswell processors. Apple is also due to release a new Mac Pro this year probably with a a slimmer design and lower profile than the earlier model.

Software a.k.a iOS 7

Apple has hinted recently about the next iOS’s design and theme. When Scott Forstall (Apple’s former iOS torch bearer) was fired, design perfectionist Jonathan Ive took the throne. Ive believes in a more clean and flat look and so far it looks like iOS 7 will be just that.
