Earlier today at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) Apple announced the new and improved iOS 7. The updated iOS contains a completely new and redesigned UI that includes many innovative and wonderful new features. We will be providing these iOS 7 feature posts that analyze the new features.
Apple hit the nail on the head by introducing Control Center. Control Center now allows users to toggle settings from anywhere in iOS. This feature has been well explored by the jailbreak community, and is many reasons users jailbreak their phones. Control Center gives you quick access to the controls and apps you always seem to need right this second. Just swipe up from any screen (including the Lock screen) to perform functions like switch to Airplane mode, turn Wi-Fi on or off, or adjust the brightness of your display. You can even shine a light on things with a new flashlight. Never has one swipe given you so much control.
With Control Center you can…
Turn on or off Airplane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Do Not Disturb. Lock your screen’s orientation or adjust its brightness. Play, pause, or skip a song. Connect to AirPlay-enabled devices. And quickly access your flashlight, timer, calculator, and camera.
